Design at Legado

Every design element of Legado has been carefully considered to complement the dining experience – a space where design, atmosphere, architecture and cooking come together with intent.
On arrival, guests are met with a display of the day’s catch – fresh fish and seafood that appear throughout the menu – set opposite the Taberna. Inspired by the pintxos bars of Bilbao and northern Spain, the Taberna is designed for flexibility and ease, with bar seating and communal tables that encourage a more relaxed, social style of dining. Open throughout the day and into the evening, it offers a natural gathering point within the restaurant.
Beyond, the main dining room opens into a dramatic double-height space, filled with natural light by day. One wall reveals exposed London stock brick, while another is lined with a floor-to-ceiling wine display showcasing bottles from across Spain. At its centre sits the open kitchen and counter, placing the focus on the rhythm of service and the craft of the chefs. Here, two custom-built asadores – one for lamb, one for pork – have been installed, each made in situ by specialists from Madrid’s Hornos Jumaco Maestro.
The interiors draw from across Spain, interpreted through a contemporary lens. A palette of greens, pinks and terracotta runs throughout, while details reference regions that have shaped Nieves’ cooking – from fluted ceilings inspired by Barcelona to plasterwork reminiscent of Segovia, and metalwork that echoes Bilbao.
A design informed by Spain, grounded in London.
We look forward to welcoming you.
