Discover Txoko: Legado’s New Private Dining Room in Shoreditch

Opening this October, Txoko [cho-ko] is Legado’s new private dining room, offering an intimate space for private lunches, dinners and special events in the heart of Shoreditch.

Meaning “nook” or “cosy corner” in Basque, a txoko is traditionally a private gastronomic society where people come together to cook, eat and share good food. At Legado, our Chef Patron Nieves Barragán has reimagined this centuries-old tradition, creating an inclusive space that celebrates the warmth and generosity of Spanish hospitality.

Located above the Michelin-starred restaurant, Txoko seats up to 16 guests and offers two bespoke set menus (£160 and £220 per person), showcasing our signature asador dishes alongside exclusive specials and optional Spanish drinks pairings.

The room pays tribute to Spain’s historic bodegas, with guests able to enjoy sherries, wines, vermouths and Basque cider served directly from barrels within the space, creating a truly immersive dining experience.
