Spain, By the Glass

This summer, we’re launching Taberna Tastings: Spain, By the Glass – a new series of intimate wine tastings at Legado celebrating the regions, producers and traditions behind Spain’s remarkable wine culture.

Hosted by our Head Sommelier, Marcos, each masterclass explores a different style of Spanish wine, thoughtfully paired with a selection of tapas from our Taberna menu. From iconic wine regions to time-honoured drinking traditions, each evening offers a deeper insight into the flavours and stories that inspire Legado.

Our first event, taking place on Thursday 23rd July, is dedicated to one of Spain’s most cherished aperitifs: Vermouth. Discover the history of Spanish vermouth, the botanicals and producers behind each style, and the origins of la hora del vermut – the ritual of gathering for a glass before lunch that remains a beloved tradition across Spain.

Priced at £60 per person, the experience includes five vermouths paired with a selection of tapas from the Taberna. Guests will be seated at communal tables, creating a relaxed and sociable evening inspired by Spain’s neighbourhood bars.
